The Opportunity

We currently have a great opportunity for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team who are based in Nottingham. Boots Hearingcare is one of the UK’s leading brands in hearing healthcare and we are renowned for our quality of service and friendly customer-led approach.

As part of our continued growth plans in Marketing, your contribution as Assistant Marketing Manager would be essential to support the Head of Marketing and provide the wider marketing team with your expertise in all elements of the marketing mix.

The Role

As a successful Assistant Marketing Manager you will provide support to the business by ensuring volume and demand targets are met across all digital and BTL marketing channels. You will plan and execute activity to support sales targets and deliver highly effective communications both online and offline. You will be able to create ‘on-brand’ and inspiring copy for direct mail, email and the Boots Hearingcare website, as well as plan effective PPC campaigns, working closely with agencies to ensure the key messages are conveyed. You will support in the on-going development of the new Boots Hearingcare website ensuring functionality and content is up to date. You will also continue to develop and improve response rates to ensure delivered campaigns hit set budgets. Additionally, you will provide accurate and timely reporting of marketing activity and take responsibility for driving cost-saving wherever possible.

The Required Skills

As an Assistant Marketing Manager, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels. You must have expert organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple complex projects through to completion. You must be confident in leading negotiations with agencies and have a keen eye for detail and a desire to always test and learn. You must have at least 2 years of experience in developing integrated marketing campaigns across all BTL channels including email, direct mail, digital and PPC and be proficient in using Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor and Microsoft office technologies to an expert level, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Photoshop skills are also desirable, as is a creative flair
