We currently have an opportunity for a Regional HR Business Partner to join Boots Hearingcare, supporting the retail division in a regional capacity on an 18 month fixed-term contract. Ideally you will be based in Leeds, Nottingham or Manchester. As part of our continued growth plans across retail in Boots Hearingcare, your contribution as HR Business Partner would be essential and you will have plenty of opportunity to grow and develop throughout your career with us.
The successful HR Business Partner will be based from home; however, there will be a vast amount of traveling each week covering seven regions within the North of the Country. Within the role you will offer your experience and expertise in employment law, to ensure the company is operating according to statutory legislation. You will also be proactive in your assessment of the HR Department service as a whole and offer suggestions for continual improvement.
You will support and partner with the Divisional Manager for the North who is responsible for the management and development of seven Regional Managers. The HRBP should work at a strategic level to add value to the Division which will involve; manpower planning, supporting the recruitment process by working with the Talent Acquisition Partner on regional vacancies, events and assessment centres. You will provide management information to support managers manage their departments and people effectively and proactively and you will actively endorse a positive culture across the business.
Additionally, you will manage and coordinate annual reviews, whilst helping to guide training and development – whilst coaching the leadership team in their own leadership behaviours.
The Required Skills
As a HR Business Partner, you must have strong knowledge and experience in employment law. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate and negotiate effectively with all stakeholders in the business. As this role is home-based you must be a self-starter who can work efficiently alone, as well as with others in a team. You will have tact, and the ability to deal with complex and often challenging situations that require strong diplomatic skills.
This opportunity would suit someone with 3 or more years of experience working as a Regional HR Advisor/Senior HR Advisor and looking to take the next step in their career or someone who is already working as a HR Business Partner.
