It’s that time of year again where we’re looking for talented individuals to join our graduate programme for 2017… So, we’re delighted to share with you details of how you can apply.

We’ll be holding special assessment days, which will give us the opportunity to learn about each other. You’ll get to hear what it’s like to work for Boots Hearingcare from our recent graduates, and our retail leadership team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

The sessions will start with us sharing a short presentation about us, you’ll then take part in a group exercise and finish with a short interview. We’d love to see you there! In the meantime, here’s a little more about us and our graduate programme:

At Boots Hearingcare, we believe our people are our best assets, so we take the time and effort to challenge, nurture and develop them – all graduates who join the business start their journey with a graduate induction programme which aims to give you an insight into the company and our culture, and builds skills and knowledge so you can approach your new role with confidence.

Your graduate training programme includes:

Training at Support Office:
In your first weeks you will spend time at our Support Office for a detailed introduction to the company and your new role. The sessions will cover the core areas including product training, commercial dispensing and our patient management system.

Specially assigned mentor:
As a graduate recruit you will be assigned a mentor from our established team to support you in all aspects of your role. We structure your initial sessions with your mentor to make sure we cover all the key areas; learning the day to day practicalities of dispensing. Following the structured programme you will then be able to access your mentor’s support and advice via phone or e-mail, we also encourage you to continue regular face-to-face contact.

Access to the Academy:
Throughout your 12 month induction programme, and beyond, you will also be supported by our industry leading online training site ‘The Academy’. With your own personalised login the Academy site will allow you access to bespoke graduate training content, provide the opportunity to further explore your own particular interest areas and test your learning. The Academy also allows you to keep track of your CPD requirement for your HCPC registration.

Our vibrant and busy Support Office is on hand to provide help when you need it.
